At full resolution (1920x1080), the lines that should appear below the active application icons on the left side of the Windows 10 taskbar are not visible. As you approach the right end of the taskbar, you will see these lines. As if the 1920 x 1080 pixel array were arranged slightly counter-clockwise on the front. The taskbar on the right is thicker than the one on the left. This means that you cannot see whether the application associated with the icon at the left end of the taskbar is activated or deactivated. If you set your screen resolution to 1768 x 992 (seemingly an odd number), the taskbar appears more uniform in height and easier to use. I'm running Windows 10 64-bit on an HP Elite Book 8570w workstation with an NVidia Quadro K1000M graphics card.
