Review on Enhanced White Cream Filament with a Subtle Yellowish Hue: The Perfect Blend for Optimal Results by Michael Godo

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Fantastic yarn but first layer adhesion is finicky.

I used 1/2 spool of Filacube White and about 3/4 Filacube Purple and I can safely say that this is some of the highest quality filament I have printed with. One thing I noticed is that while some filaments can print on semi-rough substrate surfaces (adhesive residue), this filament will not stick to anything other than a fresh coating. If you're printing on anything other than a fresh layer or straight glass, the first few layers will pull together, affecting the entire print. If you don't get a perfect layer, the problem will persist throughout the print and will affect the dimensional accuracy of the prints. Ken, the owner of Filacube, is incredibly quick to respond to emails and gives great advice on any issues that arise which is a huge plus. I am using Ender 3 with a standard nozzle, I have found that adhesion to the layer is most effective at 55°C with a nozzle temperature of 210°C. Definitely worth printing a temperature tower as this filament seems to deviate from my usual printing temperatures.

Pros
  • ✅【Ivory Off White】 This filament is very light yellow tone, ideal for 3D printing bones, statues, figurines, beads, jewelry, necklaces, lithophane, piano keys, elephant tusks, teeth, fangs, etc. d.
Cons
  • No Instructions
