I really like these boots. Easy to put on and relatively easy to take off. This can seem like a problem if you don't have anything to support you and aren't good on one leg when removing. Reliably protects against dirt hitting a spike. I've had times where I forgot about them and loads of dirt made it difficult to turn on. They do their job. Just remember to take them off when you get on your bike. Your boyfriend won't let you forget... with a laugh. The only thing I wish it came with was some sort of tote bag. Because you have to put dirty suitcases in your back pocket. No problem if you have a pannier with space.
