I wish I had had these years ago!

I have changed 3 pairs of boots in 9 years because I never knew about these comfortable covers. Now I can walk around the cities during RABRAI without ruining my boots. In addition, they hardly take up any space in my jersey pocket while driving.

Pros
  • Everything is fine!
Cons
  • Crumpled

Great for city use, stud durability

I live in the city and have to carry my bike down stairs every ride with very slippery studs. I slipped on a tree, rock, etc. This eliminated the slip and gave me some much-needed rest. Obviously, they also add durability to the spikes, which is a nice bonus. Lightweight and easy to stow away in the jersey while riding.

A must to protect your boots and they make walking easier!

Love it! These cleat covers are made of soft rubber/plastic and easily fit my Shimano cleats. They also have a low profile and are much less slippery and hard than cleats, making walking much easier. They don't hang around or fall down in shoes, but they're just as easy to take off as they are to put on.

Pros
  • Cool product
Cons
  • Not automatic

Should have received them sooner!

The fit is perfect The lid is a bit thicker and taller than this so most likely not a problem but only time will tell. We have new imitation wood floors and now I can walk on them without any worries. And they feel comfortable, so they are not slippery. I would buy them again.

Pros
  • Delivery was very quick
Cons
  • Could have chosen a newer model

An investment worth investing in.

Bought cycling shoes for the first time. I have seen and heard boots being torn when walking. These things are very useful. If I walk in cycling shoes (not very often) I have to have them because the grip is AMAZING! I really feel like I'm wearing the old Jump Soles/Strength from a few years ago. good investment Product photos, with and without shoes.

Pros
  • Robust design
Cons
  • No performance

Protect yourself, rubber things!

Perfect! These inexpensive cleat covers protect the rubber parts of your cleats so you don't wear out your EXPENSIVE cleats while walking before or after your ride. Holds up VERY well and doesn't fall off. Smart advice: take them off BEFORE you start riding, don't ask me how I know. You don't want to look like you're dancing Swan Lake while trying to insert a clip without success. Awkward. That's what I heard.

Pros
  • Durable Test Results
Cons
  • Expensive

Just don't forget to take them off

I really like these boots. Easy to put on and relatively easy to take off. This can seem like a problem if you don't have anything to support you and aren't good on one leg when removing. Reliably protects against dirt hitting a spike. I've had times where I forgot about them and loads of dirt made it difficult to turn on. They do their job. Just remember to take them off when you get on your bike. Your boyfriend won't let you forget... with a laugh. The only thing I wish it came with was some…

Great pedal covers and spikes

Estimated delivery took a month. Other than that, these covers are great. I just tried them yesterday. After driving 55km to Whistler we had to dismount and walk through the village. I put these covers on my boots, and viola! I protected my boots and had great traction when walking. They held up very well and I had no problem with them coming loose when walking on cobblestones. To remove them, I had to pull the tabs a bit. They fit in my saddlebag under the seat with no extra weight. I will…

Value Proposition Best in Parts & Components

When you consider new studs cost $20, how much does $13 add to the life of your studs? And do you mind taking a few extra grams with you? I use them because they give me more support when walking and personally I think I would chew on my boots a lot more easily otherwise. Once I had one more flat tire than I had inner tubes and tore my boots on the way back. Since then I always take them with me. They are quite snug and I've never had one come loose while walking. They're a bit difficult to…
