Poor quality fragile sensor.

I had had this unit for less than 2 years when the reading started to increase. Like the other author's experience, he considers the room temperature to be 160F. I called the customer service number I found on the Home Depot website published by MRBBQ. You only replace the device for up to one year. The probe seems too fragile for this job. I've always taken care of mine, but he still hasn't checked the temperature of the sweet tea. Don't expect long-term performance.
