I just bought a new Tahoe. 2020. The last time I bought a car was a Tahoe. 2002 Eighteen years ago. I always thought it was a nice touch that the old 2002 Tahoe came with a sexy little leatherette owner's manual holder. At the time, I was like, 'Well, hell yeah. I just paid $40,000 for the car, so I love that it comes with a little ornament for the glove box! Fast forward to 2019. I just got my new Tahoe delivered. This time it's a $70,000 beast with all the bells and whistles imaginable. EXCEPT when I opened the glove box to look in the owner's manual, instead of a cute little custom mount with a cute Chevy Bowtie logo or Tahoe badge stamped on it, and I found a cheap Manila envelope. Hmmm. I open this envelope and there is an instruction manual in a 2,000,000,000,000 thick plastic bag! Cover/holder for the user manual. I think I'll speak to my dealer about this insult! Anyway, nice little stories aside, this holder works well. The Tahoe owner's manual is a big fat monster, but you can fit a suitcase with a spare seat in here. There are a few extra booklets that came with the car and they fit, no problem. This thing has room for the big fat owner's manual that comes with cars that are too cheap to include from the factory.
