Review on ๐Ÿ’ง EKWB EK-Tube Zero Maintenance Soft Tubing, 9.5/15.9mm (3/8" ID, 5/8" OD), 3 Meter, Black: Durable and Hassle-Free Tubing for Optimal Liquid Cooling System by Chef Buntiloy

Relatively expensive and too complicated to install.

Unfortunately, even in combination with good quality EK fittings of the right size, Quantum Torque, I had to put in too much trouble just to get the ZMT (10/16 mm or 3/8" x 5/8" "), and after simulating the first cycle, my hands were blistered and cut in places. Separating each pass was just as absurdly difficult, and I was genuinely concerned that I might damage my hardware if I tried to hack attachments. Of course, boiling water or a heat gun would make the ZMT easier to work with, but since both the Tygon A-60 and Alphacool's matte black EPDM tubing are relatively easy to fit, I'm not worried. If I tried to fit a ZMT to non-EK fittings I wouldn't give it such a low score, but even if I just got a smaller sample than usual the QC should have flagged it. Since I've only read about the following problem but haven't experienced it myself (or ever experienced it, since I've never circulated coolant through a sump), I'm not including it in my review. However, at least some customers have noticed small bits of hose liner circulating in their loops and a fairly vigorous wire brushing seems to be required to fix the problem. Then ZMT is far away from "zero maintenanceโ€. ", and very difficult to recommend considering the high price. Even the Tygon A-60 I bought later was cheaper, and the Alphacool tube is significantly cheaper. See the Tygon A-60 and Alphacool alternatives also look better.
