Can anything other than a remote control on my giant AV match the performance of my Klipsch RB5 (8 ohms, 150 watts max) for a satisfactory comparison? Actually yes. And I'm quite surprised. My receiver costs many hundreds and feeds my speakers very well. It actually had way too much power, but I never got it to the point where my ears bled. Of course, not only does my receiver have the power, it also has enough inputs to power a room full of equipment. Everything you need. Of course it has power outputs A and B, surround outputs and a separate subwoofer output. And a great remote control. This BT receiver/amplifier features an RCA input and Bluetooth connection, two stereo speaker outputs, separate bass and treble, volume and on/off switch. That's all. I connected my CD player to the RCA input and my Flac player to the Bluetooth input (it can also be connected with a 3.5mm to RCA cable). Both sound great. I don't hear any hum or hiss. The sound is full at some bass/treble settings. Not as good as a thousand dollar receiver, but still good. BT 5.0 connects fine but I would prefer it was aptx. The construction is solid and all buttons work well. Speaker jacks have straight cables and banana plugs. The power adapter is huge, but since it's an online device (like a laptop), it doesn't bother. And since it's a separate amp, it doesn't get hot. The instructions are stinky, but you don't really need them. Who will use such a system? Anyone who needs to power a dual speaker system with one or two devices and has a pair of speakers that doesn't require a lot of power. It's a very simple system that works. Highly recommended
