Review on Tools QUICK GRIP Replacement Clamps 1826577 by Carl Lipschultz

I have an old Irwin Quick-Grip with yellow pads that needed replacing. I took the chance to see if they would work. When I received these pads I doubted they would work as they were about 1/4" narrower than the original pads. But I found that they actually fit my clamps but cover a smaller area, which I was initially concerned about seemed good. After storing them with the yoke closed for about a month, the pads stuck together and then detached from the yoke when I let go of the yoke. That's when I noticed that they fit the clamp just loosely, but not enough around holding them up which was never a problem with the old pads, I have to glue them on to hold them up, that's why I only gave 3 stars.
