This paper shredder surprised me. I didn't know it was a cross shredder when I bought it. I had to shred some credit cards and important bills/documents at home and this was perfect for that. As he inserted the credit card, he tore it slightly. After that I checked the pieces and was very surprised at how well they were cut and into such tiny pieces that it would be almost impossible to put them back together or figure out which pieces go where. I also found it good that there is a small protective element at the top that prevents it from slipping off the base. The base also has a viewing window so you can see how full the basket is. I haven't had a paper jam yet, but I appreciate you being able to fix it if necessary. It says it comes with a 1 year warranty which I appreciate. Overall it's a good size for a home office and the ability to store it until I need it. It has all the essential features that make it useful for home or office use, and it does a great job for the price.
