If you have a 2016 RAV4 Hybrid you should buy this harness. It has the right connectors and cable lengths for easy installation. I tried two others before finding this one so I know. Follow the YouTube video for installation. If you have a hybrid, your battery is in the back next to the spare tire, so you don't have to worry about running cables up front. The hardest part is getting your hand behind the plastic dividers to connect the wires. Everything just snaps into place, so once you've found the connector it's easy. It was a little odd to take apart the interior panels of a nearly new car, but everything fitted together nicely. I used a weed puller to remove the panels. It worked like a charm. No special tools need to be purchased.
