Review on BEHRINGER UM2 Audio Interface with XLR/TRS, 1/4", USB, and RCA – Black, 1-Channel by Iyaant Mahameru ᠌

I needed an external audio card to connect speakers to a PC due to the impossibility of normal use / upgrade of the built-in solution. Because stereo speakers 2.0 are used and the budget was important (with an eye to at least some quality), then I paid attention to u-phoria um2, and bought it. After reading the reviews, I immediately found and downloaded the "correct" drivers from the links. Most of the time, the audio interface is used to play background music, moreover, using streaming services (Internet radio, music, etc.), while from time to time there are friezes and "smearing of sound" (sound artifacts), which is certainly not fatal, but unpleasant . I sinned on the PC (changed the PC, the problem remained), on the Internet connection (although otherwise there are no complaints, stable 80-90 Mbps), but in the end I demolished the "correct" drivers and reinstalled the audio interface using the drivers offered by Windows 10. What is most paradoxical, but all the problems with playing streaming audio are gone. I changed Win10 to Win 11, the drivers are also by default and no problems. All described IMHO. Perhaps someone really needs the "correct" drivers, but in my case they only caused problems, perhaps it's not for nothing that the manufacturer does not offer drivers on the site?
