The pants are great in terms of softness, but they have no elasticity. The ties are very weak. If they sweat and sit with their clothes on, they are more likely to break their backs. If you're a tall guy like me, you need to make sure you pull up the pant leg to give the crotch area a "give" when you're otherwise seated and an opening for when stressed legs rip and tear the crotch seam. The material is very soft and comfortable, but they're very cheaply made.
