Some pros: weight, size, equipment (very touched by a 128 MB memory card from canon), manual mode, manually controlled flash, large screen, manual focus, quick access modes Different cons: video 640 * 480, batteries and a memory card under one cover, hence the cover of this compartment that is slightly wedged from frequent use
