When our senior cat stopped eating a lot, we had to do something to increase her calorie content. After trying different foods and cat milk to no avail, I decided to give this one a try. She wasn't just a pasta fan. Through experimentation, I've found that if you mix 1/2 teaspoon of pasta into a tablespoon of hot water and then pour the resulting "gravy" onto 2-3 tablespoons of wet food, she will eat it. Not only did this give her extra calories, it also gave her extra water to keep her hydrated. She also got as much food as she could eat in a day, but I usually fed her 3-4 times a day. While it seems like some cats hate it and others love it, I would suggest giving it a try. Provided they are safe to eat, older kittens will feel better with the extra calories and nutrients it provides. Ours are certainly feeling a lot better since we started, and it's a small price to pay to make them feel better.
