Update 1-16-21: Well after about 6 months the beginning of the kitchen bar has lost about half the brightness of the blue LEDs so that part now looks yellow. Then last week we had a power outage and the power went out. They were behind a surge protector so "shouldn't" be a problem, but apparently it was. As it turns out, color in the kitchen is more of a gimmick for our home, so I'm switching to pure white anyway. The one in the office still works perfectly. The rating has changed from 5 to 4. I am still happy with their use and still recommend this brand. They are good and bright for cabinet/table lighting. I'm very picky about what I like and why. So far they have met my expectations. The LEDs are close together giving 300 for 16ft and 600 for 32ft which is a plus. Many other brands only have half of them. This kit uses 24V for a 32ft kit, which is very convenient. This increases the line voltage to power all the lights, even at the 32 foot end. There is no remote control that I like, only as a spare, but definitely not a minus. I used the Smart Life app and it picked it up in just a few seconds and was up and running in about 10 seconds. The app has 2 sliders, one for saturation and one for brightness. "Cool white" is a very nice color in my opinion. It doesn't have that blue/hospital/sterile feel. You can get warmer light by selecting yellow and then lowering the saturation to 10-30% depending on your taste. I have these pears in two places. Under my desk in the office, it's nice to play under red at night :) I installed another set in the kitchen. I had some fun running the wires between the cabinets, but my son and I were able to do it successfully. There are some good YouTube videos on the subject so I won't waste your time. I have lighting under the cabinets as well as on the inside edge above the top shelves. We have 9ft ceilings so we have extra space above the jewelry cabinets. It is excellent! Now I'm walking around the house wondering where to put MORE! We will be buying more in the near future. I will update this review if anything goes wrong.
