This is my second purchase of this item. I had this lock at my previous place of residence. Since my family moved, I had to take another one. Easily set and configure passwords. We use rechargeable batteries and the batteries last a long time (several months with heavy use). *****Update***** 11/15/19 I originally purchased this item in March of this year. Today I tried to enter my house with the keyboard. The keyboard just died when I entered my code (no warning). Nobody in the house had a key, so we were locked in. The locksmith couldn't pick the lock so it had to be drilled out (which took some time). I can't troubleshoot if the lock stopped working due to dead batteries as the lock is now destroyed. But the lock gave no indication that the battery was low (I used to have a low battery indicator on a previous lock I had). Pros: It's hard for someone to pick your lock. Cons: Difficult for someone to pick your lock. Lesson learned: you always have access to your actual key.
