I have a 1998 Jeep Wrangler (TJ). The shop installed lift kit included a transfer case kit, but they were wrong - they got the one for the 2003 to present TJ, which has M12 bolts, which are a bit narrower than the 1/2" bolts that are included in this kit. They worked and failed over the course of a year of riding, resulting in a mishap on the track when the transfer case sagged a few inches and we had to reposition the remaining bolts if necessary. Gaskets too. This is the correct kit for the 1997-2002 TJ, with 1/2" bolts and tapered spacers (and tapered washers) that fit properly in the skid plate, which has a tapered rim around the bolt holes.
