Review on 🌮 Taco 0010-F3 Cast Iron Cartridge Circulator-0010 Series, 115 V, Eco-friendly Green by Nicholas Reggae

Sounds like a jet engine taking off and then the sound of water flow is very clear compared to my previous pump (B&G 100 series). Noise can be heard especially late at night when there is little noise from other locations. I contacted Taco customer service thinking there was something wrong with the pump and they explained the loud noise e.g. B. that there might be rust or that I should try closing the check valves a bit in hopes of reducing the noise. .etc. To suggest that a new pump could have rust is ridiculous. to suggest that I take my NEW taco pump apart to check for rust in the middle of winter is pathetic. What was Taco's customer service rep? think? I would return the pump immediately, but returning it is not easy, especially online. I asked if they had a place nearby (I'm in a big city) to return it and they said to follow their return procedures and send it back. In fact, this makes a return impossible. I think the reason Taco didn't offer a direct replacement is because this pump is very noisy. The water circulates well for my duplex, but I wouldn't recommend it to anyone. If anyone is talking, stick to Bell & Gossett or Grundfos. I should have listened.
