Great idea, but unfortunately it doesn't work. Just to clarify - I've done 5 engine oil changes and 1 transmission with this sump since I bought it, so it's not a "first impression". My main complaints: 1. The sump is too shallow which means the oil that is poured out will easily spill out, no matter how you position the sump you will end up spilling oil on the bottom. 2. The plug in the sump is poorly installed and barely holds in place when closed. Need to put a rag to tighten it.3. I wouldn't risk using the full 16q capacity, after 2 oil changes (11q) it's almost full so at best it can handle 12q. It's bulky and heavy. It's hard to work with this under-engine thing in a tight under-car space. Maybe for a truck, okay, but torment a small car.
