They fit perfectly. I'm glad that no tongue can get lost in the boot. A bit uncomfortable to pull due to the missing tongue. The small hole also prevents my child from stepping on half the shoe and half taking it off the foot. It's good that there are laces to learn how to tie your laces, but I think they'll be fine without laces. The only issue is that there are no eyelets to prevent the lace holes from ripping, and durability can be an issue due to the lightweight material and boys who aren't great with shoes.
