Great price for a quality product

This works exactly as advertised in both of my laptops. I have the 16GB 1600MHz variant in my HP ENVY M6-1205dx and HP DV7t-7000 laptops and the specs can be checked by going to the WindowsCentral guide How to get full PC memory specs follow the command line terminal. Ignore the "for Apple" keyword in the product name and description, as any computer that supports DDR3L SODIMM RAM modules will work with them (always check your computer's manual before purchasing mods). I regularly use around 6-7GB of RAM when doing a job that often slows down my computer badly as it has almost exhausted my old 8GB of RAM. Expanding to 16GB pretty much eliminated that bottleneck and allowed me to increase my workload without risking my computer crawling at a snail's pace. So far, the maximum usage I've seen has been around 9GB of RAM, and even then there hasn't been any noticeable drop in performance, if any. My previous RAM cards were two 4GB Samsung cards and two 4GB Hynix cards. I've been using these Silicon Power cards daily for the past two months and their performance hasn't disappointed me.

Pros
  • 1600MHz (PC3 12800) 204-pin CL11 SODIMM for Laptop Memory
Cons
  • Unbelievable price
