Review on Smartphone Nothing Phone (1) 8/256 GB, Dual nano SIM, white by Adam Szczelewski ᠌

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Perfect purchase for me, exactly what I was looking for!

purchased solely as a change of pace from the excellent and fully working Sony Xperia 5 II. Like everyone else, I didn't want a phone. The opposite of Sony: large and hefty. Since I don't like them in principle, several pals agreed that I should take an iPhone-like device. Although it looks stunning from the back without a cover, one is necessary in order to prevent the glass back from being easily broken. On Ali, I purchased a Nilkin cover, which is fantastic. The screen is comparable to Sony in quality. Glyphs are unique and interesting. Since the screen is typically facing you and you only occasionally notice anything more than reflections, the practical utility is not very high. But I enjoy having them around. Oddly enough, the camera doesn't even shoot much worse than Sony's pro mode (where you can easily adjust the exposure like on a real camera, but most of the time you are too lazy to do this). The phone can last two days when used for calls, instant messaging, a little web browsing, and a few hours of music listening (Sony - similarly). No issues with voice or communication. Compared to Sony, NFC in Sber Pay operates significantly more consistently (i.e., it always functions). Sony's fingerprint scanner (on the side) is more lively, but Sony irritates continually, so it frequently blocks for 30 seconds and requires a code to be entered. For a month, there were no visible bugs and no freezes. It is odd that creating folders in the application menu of the native shell (launcher) is difficult (I could not figure out how to do it); all the icons hang in a long line (typically, you push one over the other, and there is the folder). Everyone believes that this is a bug or that there is a severe absence of an interface; it shouldn't be this way at all.

Pros
  • The phone met my expectations. If you want a phone that is unique and has no tendency to be compared with a magnifying glass, you should not get one like everyone else. characteristics for every dollar spent: advised.
