They make up for it with their inefficiency. If you put triangular notches on your fan frame and customers attach them to something that offers resistance, like a heatsink or heatsink, the notches will provide a perfect air outlet that's far from where you actually wanted it. for example through a radiator or radiator. Call me crazy, but I prefer to let air flow through whatever I mount the fan to. The fans spin faster since you set the fan curve to speed up when warming up (you set one, right?). Air escaping the slits increases, which can indirectly cool something you didn't need to cool in the first place. For example an empty USB3 socket on your motherboard or an ATX power cable or maybe a screw holding your ROM in place. So technically they do great stuff. It just doesn't have to be what you wanted to cool. Point. The sound is so loud it makes my ears bleed and I can't think straight enough to keep coming up with other legitimate reasons NOT to buy them at all. But they are white, so take them. Actually get 10 of these. I have made. Because sometimes it's better to look cool than to be cool.
