I purchased two of these counter height chairs and I was massively impressed. First, they are extremely heavy, which supports the sturdiness. I appreciate that they swivel with no problem along with the footrest that includes the metal along the base to prevent damage to that area. These are a very good purchase if you are looking for a nice counter height stool with a back that swivels. I would highly recommend these chairs. The only negative was the instructions on how to put together; my husband is extremely well versed in carpentry, electrical, plumbing, etc. And he indicated that he would put the back to the seat together first and then start the process of adding the bottom section. It took way too long to put together based on their instructions so, the second chair, he started with the top section first. Also, the metal on the footrest was covered with a protective covering and not knowing this, the initial install of this was put on with the metal on the underside, so I caution you to make sure this sits facing up in order to ensure you have the metal protection for your chair.
