So we have a big problem with starting in the house. (The kids literally won't stop running around the top floor and our neighbors HATE us for it.) My husband offered to buy this and flip it over so the soft plastic tips are facing up. I found it a bit cruel, but after facing numerous complaints and the lack of any other disciplining/incentive system, I gave up. WORKS, LIKE, A, CHARMING! something like speed bumps. Their walking around has EXTREMELY decreased and everyone is happier! The plastic spikes are soft and don't really hurt anyone if stepped on. They only serve as an unexpected reminder not to run. Will definitely buy again.
