I love this suitcase despite its flaws. What are the disadvantages? Well, the strip of metal is very uneven and sharp where it meets the wood. The top is too "problematic" for my taste. It has a slightly whimsical old wood smell mixed with a chemical smell that doesn't seem to dissipate even after a month. And for the price, it really isn't the most durable. I originally bought this to store my duvets in, but the odd smell eventually seeps into the duvets. So I only use it as a small coffee table in my office/home office. So why do I love it? It's really beautiful and unique. If the smell EVER goes away, holding a few blankets will be enough.
