Update: I'm liking it better and better after a week of using this comforter. I use it every morning. When I wake up, I set it to "Warm” and enjoy the warmth. I admit that I haven't tried higher temperatures, because warm looks very good on me. The moment I received this electric blanket I plugged it in and set it to warm. It took about 1-2 minutes before I felt the heat emanating from it. After that, I think it took about 3 more minutes to reach the warm-up temperature. To save money my family doesn't use a stove/heater so in the winter I only have blankets, blankets and my body heat and thankfully I now have an electric blanket. Edit above, this is where the connector is on the ceiling. When I'm under the covers, the fork is practically on my chest. So I tried flipping it but now I can still feel it on my feet. I think the best place for him would be a corner. But otherwise I am completely satisfied with this blanket. I also like the 2 year guarantee. My previous Sunbeam electric blanket broke after 6 months. Even though it had a 5 year guarantee the only way to get it was to send the blanket back which was almost more than the price I bought it for.
