Review on ⛸️ Lake Placid Everest Women's Soft Boot Figure Ice Skate: Optimal Performance & Comfort for Figure Skating by Brody Jacobs

Good skates for seasonal skaters

I'm a figure skater who goes on the ice about once every two weeks. This is the first pair of skates I have ever bought. I'm very happy with them, especially for the price. Comfortable but not perfect. I hope they wear out more when I wear them. The blade feels smooth and I like the strap over the skate. I have a wide foot and it's very difficult to find plus size skates at an affordable price. I chose them because other reviews complained that they felt loose. It worked in my favor. The insole fits well but the top of the shank is a little looser than I would like. Updates: I've been riding these skates for about a year and ride at least once a week. they hold up well. Despite being worn so often, the breaking isn't great. Now they are too loose. I'm an aggressive skater and I'm developing my skills so it seems I've outgrown them. I think for a seasonal skater who isn't aggressive these skates are great. But for those who skate a lot and want to improve their skills, you'll outgrow them, and the loose fit makes it difficult to learn higher skills.

Pros
  • Great price
Cons
  • poorly thought out
