I read the negative reviews but then there were some positive ones. Well I have to give this device zero stars. I plugged it in and computer #2's display came on for a few seconds and then the screen went blank. Pressing the button toggles the light between numbers 1 and 2, but that's all it does. There's no display, so it's impossible to tell if the mouse or keyboard is working. But the idea is good. All of these inexpensive devices seem to have significant reviews. Even positive reviewers have complaints. Perhaps that's why there is another group of KVMs that are in the $200 range and not the $30 range. But then you can buy a second monitor, keyboard and mouse for less than $200.
