I've tried all sorts of things to keep the runner in place on my curb carpet. My first attempt with this tape failed because I ran the tape perpendicular to the pile of the carpet underneath. and it curled up when the runner moved with foot traffic. My second attempt was a resounding success: I taped strips of tape about 10 inches apart across the skid in the direction the bottom stack wanted to push the skid. Did! Is working! And it was pretty easy to remove the first set of tape without leaving any damage or marks. Use a knife, not scissors, and you won't make a mess. UPDATE 1: Still available after a few weeks! I ordered a second roll to keep the rubber kitchen mats in place on my RV's plywood floor. Couldn't be happier. Good product. UPDATE 2: still available Two years later with the original tape! Replaced carpet and glides, bought more tape.
