Pros: Very cute design, lots of materials for this design, the scissors in this set really cut the thread, not much stitch variety so you get a lot of practice with it! Cons: Instructions aren't clear, and if you're not familiar enough with embroidery stitches, you probably need to go to YouTube (I did). It was hard to tighten the hoop with just my fingers, I gave up and tightened it as tight as I could (a wooden hoop with a bolt and nut to fasten it) and just re-tightened and re-tightened the fabric. regularly. The only other note is that there are many curves and some of them are rather small. So be patient with yourself and use smaller stitches to keep it looking smooth. Like the previous kit I received and tried, it doesn't have a needle threader so using one will make things a lot easier for you.
