I've never used a photographic light before I got this because I didn't have to try to hide the cord from my river rock chimney. I had a heck of a lot of time to put it on. Should be easy, but it isn't! The top screws came loose almost immediately, forcing me to use other screws. Then I turned it on, turned the picture back on, but the remote did nothing if I couldn't reach it no matter where I pointed it. The other buttons don't seem to do anything either, and the remote control is so ridiculously small that it's hard to hold onto while using it. As for the world. I got it to try and make my rhinestone raven glow, but the light only seems to illuminate his face and nowhere else. I'll have to try again after this thing dies, which, judging by its other properties too judge, will not take long! I wish I had trusted the good reviews so much because this item is just as cheap and priced! If you really want your picture to be LIGHTED, don't buy that cheap plastic "light" (that's far from an accurate name for it)!
