This is the perfect radio for my wife and I. The radio station is good. We like to have a scanner. It is only heard that police, fire brigade, emergency services and the hotspots in your area are exactly those things. You can't control the frequencies you hear, no banks, no frequencies are shown on screen, it only shows Fire, Police or Ambulance, it's a scanner that you can just turn on and hear what you hear. no programming. which is great for us. Going everywhere eliminates the need to constantly program frequencies. Wherever you go, the GPS will do it for you automatically, which is great for us. Just turn it on and hear what you hear next to the scanner. It covers phase 2 and page 25. You can also use an SD card to update all frequencies for free. We love this unit. But like I said, if you want to hear something other than EMS police firefighters or a point, you can look elsewhere. If you buy this item, you need to connect the microphone first. If you don't have a microphone, the volume and speakers will sound like a mess. We love this combination.
