I'm a wood turner and use it for mechanical sanding. I also have a Makita angle drill for grinding the pier. An assistant replaces the late Sweeks. Souix is best for mechanical grinding, but this drill has been out of production for 10 years. There are fake souix, but they are clearly not enough. Makita is in second place. The best feature of the Makita is the long switch. The Matibo is nicely made, has plenty of power, but the switch isn't as friendly as the Makita. I doubt I will ever replace this drill as it should last longer. I never use Makita for anything other than mechanical sanding, it just doesn't cut it for other tasks. Matibo is good for mechanical grinding, but also good for close-range drilling. I drilled a 1" Irwin 3 edge hole saw and it cut hardwood with no problems.
