I needed a connector for a laptop in the kitchen on the island. Only the power at the track lights was higher. Plugged in at the end and connected my laptop to it. Works perfectly. The only thing to note is that this plug only gets power when the switch for the track is on. So if you need constant performance but want to turn off the track for some reason, this isn't the solution. For me it does what I need it to - charges my laptop from time to time - and lets me watch YouTube videos or cook videos while I'm in the kitchen. :)
