Review on A-Tech 16GB RAM Kit for Dell OptiPlex 9010, 7010, 3010, 990, 790, 390 - DDR3 1333MHz PC3-10600 Non-ECC Memory Upgrade by Randy Bin

Worked perfectly in an old Dell Optiplex 3010

Old Dell Optiplex 3010 DT Small Form Factor Workstation PC. Updated the bios, then it accepted that 16GB of RAM with no problem and registered it perfectly. (Again after a BIOS update) the manual and everything on the web says max 8GB but they worked fine again and register as 16GB RAM again on Windows 10 64-bit. Old working PC again, Intel Core i5 3450, with 4GB of RAM that should be donated or recycled, replaced with this 16GB of RAM, MSI LP GTX 1650 (yes it runs on a 240w PSU), disables the DVD -Drive, no need and lower power consumption and replaces the hard drive with a 2TB SSD. (also uses less power than regular HD) Runs perfectly at 4K 60Hz as an HTPC, which also goes perfectly with my stereo. Also replaced the Dell fan with cable adapter (needed to replace the Dell fans) and the Noctua fan to increase airflow as it was getting quite hot before replacing the Dell fan with a much more professional and better supply fan became. (Remains pretty cool now, but cool enough) Even plays some moderate games at 1080p and decent framerates, but primary target is 4K HTPC and a great fairly inexpensive box that can be modded as mentioned above. Good RAM, I am satisfied with the purchase and the price and for my needs.
