Love wiping countertops with this. They soak up spills and do it all very quickly. It's definitely better than using terry cloth and paper towels. They are more durable than paper towels, but don't stink as quickly as terry towels. It absorbs quickly like microfiber, but is rough enough to wipe dried foods and materials off your counter. I used it to wipe down the stove, kitchen countertops, appliances and countertops every night and it was perfect. I've actually got a lot more than 10 weeks on each one so I was pretty happy with that aspect. It's a mixture of a sponge and a microfiber cloth. The only thing that bothers me is that they get dirty quickly. I think mold? Or something is turning them black very quickly. This does not affect the integrity of the fabric and does not smell like terry towels. Not quite sure what it is, but it's a bit unsightly.
