Cheap chinsey caps work best for Stem Caps

Feels cheap. Didn't expect the quality to be so bad. This product has been found in several reviews to corrode the valve stem and cause welds due to corrosion. I rejected her. When I got my hands on them, I could definitely tell that they were poor quality aluminum. The same material is used for the windows and screens on my blinds and my goodness they rust like crazy. Went to O'Reilly and bought steel lids with silicone O-rings. Be very careful with valve covers. These are specially made parts to prevent air leaks and contamination. These products are for appearance only, are potentially dangerous, and are very expensive.

Pros
  • Warning. Although these high-quality aluminum tire caps are anodized and durable, they can stick to the tire valve stem if not cared for properly. Apply lubricant before installation and between reapplications to prevent fusing.
Cons
  • Not as thick as others
