I was looking for a bottle of water to keep on my desk that didn't taste like plastic or metal. Even the top rated plastic and metal water bottles and bottles still give me the weird taste of water. I managed to find a few more glass bottles but they still had a rubber/plastic cap which tinted the taste of the water. It is great. I needed something with a lid and it was glass. My water tastes great and I no longer have to worry about one of my cats accidentally knocking over my water glass and spilling water all over it. I wouldn't say it's a travel type bottle or that it's good for hiking or camping. But just something with a lid that I can put on my desk without making the water taste weird? That's great. I am very happy with it.
