Progress isn't always smart

My family has used Electrolux vacuums for many years. I don't understand why the link tubes had to be changed from round to oval. But so that I can use my old accessory tools if necessary, I bought an oval to round adapter. It's ugly and a bit cumbersome, but it works. You can not ask for more.
