Review on 🧴 UVBRITE UV Self-Cleaning and Water-Purifying Bottle TT-B02-18.6 Ounce: Rechargeable, Insulated Stainless-Steel Tumbler with Safety Lock - Ideal for Outdoor and Emergency Use by Robert Chandrasekar

UV light actually works on this device, which is the most important part.

I was very hesitant to buy this at first, especially after reading from a user who mentioned a safety on/off mechanism that prevents you from turning on the light when the cover is open is not screwed on. Now that I have a technical background I thought it would be easy to get around and it was. The main problem I had to solve was verifying if it was true UV light being emitted by a diode, or if it was just blue light being injected as UV-C, or if it was just black light , albeit a cool one. The look does absolutely nothing to kill germs and bacteria. It's only recently that cheap consumer methods of testing real UV-C have appeared, and we all know fakes exist. This one legally uses a UV-C LED lamp. The light is a bit dim so I would suggest doing the process twice for each bottle just to be sure. I hope this helps someone, and I will also add that I bought it myself, not affiliated with the seller or Revain, just wanted to show everyone else my results to help.

Pros
  • Great for outdoor activities
Cons
  • Vulgarity
