Review on 🔑 J-ACCES Key Fob Case Shell Replacement: Fits BMW 3 5 Series, X5, X6, Z4 Keyless Entry Remote Car Key Cover Casing with Uncut Blade Blank by Alan Brewer

The replacement J-ACCES key fob case is beautifully finished and almost impossible to tell apart from the original once you scrape off the black tape covering the BMW logo. Original BMW circuit board with original battery fits like a glove but not so with most replacement batteries. The original battery mounts flush with the board, while replacement feet hold the battery about 1/16 inch from the board. This distance is sufficient so that the circuit board cannot simply sit on the back. the side half of the new key fob. To install it, either cut the plastic supports or file down the triangular tops of the battery legs. Even then I snapped trying to rip off one of the spot welded legs on the new battery to get a good fit. I still haven't found a source for an original OEM identical Panasonic VL2020 battery with spiral legs that easily sit flush with the circuit board.
