Heats up the phone when the phone is active.
I have a Galaxy S9 and it charged pretty quickly with the screen off and it on the stand. Seems to charge at the same speed whether using the included power adapter or a standard USB port. The only negative arose when I talked for a long time while charging, the phone got very hot on the back and the charge crawled (about 1% in 10 minutes). I increased the screen brightness to around 20% but it didn't seem to make a difference. This does not happen when the charger is connected.
