worked like a charm wish I had bought one of these years ago. My drain for my washing machine and water softener (yes, they use the same drain) would slow down at least once a year and couldn't handle the amount of water the washing machine was draining when draining. I would then have to move the washer and dryer so I could disassemble the drain and clean it by hand. I've always been looking for a way to clear the drain without taking it apart or calling a plumber. I've tried a few different snakes, baking soda cleaners, and shop cleaners and nothing has worked. Based on these reviews, I decided to buy Drain King and give it a try. I chose this kit because it comes with a faceted adapter and a long hose. It wasn't long enough for me to get from one room to another, but long enough to get to most items in a room. he stopped at the P-trap, I backed up about an inch and slowly turned it on. After a few seconds, I heard the loud sounds of the Leak King coming to life and working its magic. I ran it for 2 minutes, took it out and then lowered the hose, turned the water on high and the drain now handled it with no problem. I am now going to buy a smaller version for a few other household supplies and have already recommended it to a few friends who are having similar issues.
