This tool is a replacement for the "cheap" tool I bought in the bin and used for 10 years until it broke. This tool is much better and in fact I can break it. The end of the tie came loose from too much pressure. You'll need to practice on a wooden dowel and/or a square plastic block to get a feel for it. The cutter is actually MUCH better than my old tool. It also works with a variety of tie widths. The real problem is that if you've never used such a tool before, you'll be confused as to how to load the zip tie into the tool until you experiment a little. More detailed instructions would be helpful.
