It's just lovely! The first thing you need to know about Santa Claus on the moon is that he is big. It is 9 1/2 inches high and 8 inches wide. I think it's too big for a Christmas decoration and would look nice on a coffee table or mantel. It comes with a hanging cord and also has a bracket so it can stand on its own. Santa Claus requires 2 AA batteries, which are not included, and the battery box is on the back of the moon. Very easy to get to. When turned on, jingle bells will play, lights will twinkle on the moon and Santa will move his legs and arms. So pretty! According to the description on the website it is a toy. This is a decoration and not a toy as I don't see any child playing with it. It's more enjoyable than an item to add to your Christmas decorations. Love it!
