My skin is sensitive and combinational at the same time. The recommendations led me to believe that the Bioderma gel would provide the gentlest possible cleansing for my skin, so I decided to purchase it. The container is quite big and has a fairly secure cover; in fact, I would even say that it has a very secure lid. I was relieved when I transferred it to a new jar that had a dispenser attached to it. It does not have a fragrance, and the consistency is that of an extremely dense gel that is clear. Without the use of specialized equipment, it does not foam very effectively. It does an excellent job of cleansing and soothing the skin, but for some reason, it also manages to tighten mine. My skin has a very intense reaction to environmental irritants like temperature, wind, and dry air; however, after using this gel and Sensibio DS + cream together on a consistent basis for the past two months, the sensitivity has substantially lessened. This gel is great for sensitive and reactive skin, and I highly recommend it.
