Wanted to be used for aerial photography/video recording. Well the camera isn't great, it streams Wi-Fi through your phone and the video quality is terrible, choppy and low frame rate. YOU MUST DOWNLOAD YOUR APP AND CONNECT TO THE DRONE VIA WIFI if you want photos/videos. You can fly into your home without plugging in your phone. But a good thing, it was cheap, I can learn how to fly a drone and reduce the number of emergency landings. I can fly without breaking it. I've been practicing in my garage lowering flight controls, left stick up/down elevator and left/right yaw; the right joystick moves forward/backward and left/right. A bit backward compared to some first person shooters on Xbox and PS. Last month I lost it (easily) in the field when the wind blew it away on my first flight. Oops. I've crashed it into something at least 8 times but it still flies. He didn't let his kids fly because they were both under 10 years old. But for a teenager this would be a good entry level drone. now for several months. It's gonna be a lot better. Now the drone just has trouble responding to controls when I connect to my phone to get videos. When I fly without my phone connected, it responds perfectly.
