We will be using the monocular primarily for backyard wildlife viewing, but we watched the full moon one night and it was spectacular! Also, the remote worked as soon as I connected it to my phone via Bluetooth (no need to install an app). We have to remove the phone cases to attach the phone to the monocular, but that's to be expected. The tripod is excellent and we also used the monocular on our full size tripod. You really can't go wrong with this set!
